Frequently Asked Questions

What is Jett Ventures?

Jett Ventures is a venture capital firm targeting investments in early stage companies in the software/technology-enabled services, real property development/operations, and other capital-intensive industries where a large market opportunity for significant recurring revenue exists.

How Much Do You Invest?

We write checks up to $3M with an average check between $100k and $500k.  In some cases, we may commit to a larger investment.  In most situations, funds are released in stages based upon the achievement of specific milestones that prove the business model and product/market fit.

What are you looking for?

Our investments are targeted at pursuing large market opportunities with a significant component of recurring review.  We like to invest in great entrepreneurs with a great vision and the ability to build a great team.  Additionally, we are looking for entrepreneurs who are looking for an active investment partner.  Our team has deep experience and we can help take your startup to the next level.  Unlike many VCs out there, we don’t cut a check and walk away.  We do our best to ensure your success.

Do companies you invest in need to be based in Los Angeles, CA or Austin, TX?

No.

Will Jett Ventures sign an NDA in order to see my pitch deck?

Like most venture investors, we won’t sign an NDA in order to see your pitch deck.  In rare cases, such as specific real property investments, we may sign and NDA if we progress past the initial stages of our assessment process.

How long does it take to get funded?

It varies.  In some cases we will cut checks within days of first speaking with you under a standardized agreement.  In other cases, we may have to perform some due diligence and it may take a bit longer.  In all cases, we try to make the assessment and funding process as quick and painless as possible.

When will I hear back from you on a pitch deck I have submitted?

We strive to respond to every pitch submission within one week.  However, our response time may be a bit slower when the volume of pitches we receive is high.  In all cases, we will respond.
